Driven by our vision to become a globally recognized leader in post-acute rehabilitation, we are dedicated to empowering individuals to regain their independence, confidently re-integrate into their communities, and enhance their overall quality of life.
Rise is currently in the early stages of developing a comprehensive neurorehab facility in metro Atlanta. This facility will offer specialized therapies, physiatry services, residential rehabilitation care, and community integration programs, all conveniently located under one roof. Our non-profit model ensures that every person, regardless of their circumstances, has a clear pathway to access transformative, world-class rehabilitation.

Our Story
The journey we’re on is not always the one we chose.
On March 9, 2020, a skiing accident changed our family’s life. At just 15, our son Devon sustained a severe traumatic brain injury. The years that followed have been defined by critical care, hard-won milestones, and a new understanding of what recovery really demands.
As we navigated Devon’s recovery journey, we discovered gaps too many families face after the hospital: fragmented services, confusing handoffs, and limited access to long-term, specialized rehabilitation. We created D1Strong-The Journey as the fundraising component of Rise Neurorehab Institute to close those gaps so that those who have experienced neurological injuries can reclaim their lives with dignity and support.
